Vario Groep was founded in 1998.
We, the Mandemaker family, started our company back in 1998 with 1 ship of our own. Today, our fleet consists of 17 modern and up to date inland shipping tankers and two passengers ships.
Our mission is to maximize customer satisfaction by delivering the highest possible standards in safety and quality.

At Vario Groep we commit ourselves to create a safe working environment for all our employees. To guarantee that everything runs smoothly, our safety advisors and ship brokers are in direct contact with each other.
As such, we are able to offer all our employees specific expertise regarding safety and legislation, 24/7.

By striving to always be at the head of innovation, we are able to sail in a sustainable and socially responsible way.
We aim to sail as efficiently as possible, to limit our emissions to an absolute minimum. On top of that, all our ships are certified according to the Green Award.

To make sure we can offer trustworthy services, we constantly invest to communicate efficiently, to automate our administrative and operational processes and to offer our crew internal training.
Personnel
Our employees are the future of our company and are worth investing in. Therefore, we offer several internal training sessions and educational opportunities to support their growth and development. This way it’s possible to enter as a Sailor and end up as Captain of one of our ships.
